The current Hamas/Israel imbroglio is more evidence the US needs to pursue a neutral foreign policy
George McGovern said it well, "Come home America."
The story of the year happened this past weekend and how it will all end is to be seen, but it will probably add to the mess that this decade has become.
As Chairman, CEO and only member of the neutralistassociationofthe.us/, we shall proffer a few thoughts that come to the conclusion we always arrive at. Here goes:
Hamas strapped on the gliders and descended on a rave and everyone online seems to want to comment. The vast majority of politicians and other hacks all seem to be saying the same thing in condemning the perpetrators, while there are more than a few (though not as many) who defend the incursion.
The Hamas invasion of Israel caught everyone by surprise. Its success, so far anyway, was stunning. However, Israel has a large and strong military and round two should be interesting.
How this happened? Beats me. There are some online saying Mossad knew and false flag. That is too bizarre for your humble correspondent to contemplate.
The tone of condemnation is basically the same, i.e., it is a horrible barbaric invasion victimizing innocent people and we stand with Israel, while the western defenders of the Palestinians will frame it as resistance against colonialist oppression.
Twitter is on fire with scores of tweets expressing condemnation of Hamas and Palestinians and expressing support for Israel. The defenders of the Palestinians point out hypocrisy and it goes round and round.
Almost no Dem or Rep, as far as I know, says anything outside of the party line. Then again, few went outside of the allowed sentiments about Ukraine.
Iraq was about the last time anyone on the left dared to question the war narrative.
What has all of this gotten us?
Give it some thought my countrymen and women. Why do we have to be involved overseas at all?
Europe, the Far East and now the Middle East. All with potential for nuclear mischief and nothing for the average American except continual decline until collapse.
Bring the military home and just defend the homeland.
Unless you can show us something in the constitution that mandates international busybodyness.
Toward a neutralist foreign policy.
